Walking Safari
Lake Manyara, Tarangire
When we hear about Tanzania Safari, we imagine 4X4 safari vehicles running on the dusty roads of Tanzania. With open roof the vehicles allow the safari travelers to take an open view of the animals and capturing their pictures in their cameras.
However, the national parks of the country allow many other forms of safaris like; hot air balloon safari, canoeing safari, walking safaris, etc.
Out of all types of safari ,walking safaris are quite popular as it was used to be the only way of doing a safari in Africa earlier.
Not all the national parks allow the travelers to take walking safaris as there is chance travelers can get attacked by predators.
However, few parks have some territories that are free from such danger of getting attacked. All the walking trips are done by armed guides to avoid any unprepared situations.
